Leinster Intermediate Football Final

Commiserations to our Senior Footballers who travelled to Navan on Sunday last to contest the Leinster Intermediate Football Final against Trim of Meath.

It was a perfect day for the match, played in bright January sunshine, however Trim pulled ahead in the early stages of the games and Clara strove to catch up for the remainder of the game.

Buoyed by the considerable number of "home" fans in attendance Trim, maintained their lead and despite an extra six minutes of injury time Clara could not capitalise on having an extra man and getting those vital scores.

Hard luck to the Clara Management and Team.
